This event is to formally launch the 2012 National Farmers’ Day Celebration and to appeal to corporate Ghana, individuals and Institutions to support the celebrations.

It is a forum where Government through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and other related Ministries outlines plans for the celebrations and to solicit for sponsorships in any form appropriate to augment what Government has voted towards the celebrations nationwide.

It is also to afford Corporate Ghana, Institutions and individuals to pledge their support and commitment to making the celebrations a success.
