The Volta region is noted for growing various crops; among them are Cocoa, Coffee, Maize, Sorghum, Cassava, Yam, Rice, Yams, Cowpea, Groundnut, Plantain, Cocoyam, Oil Palm, Pineapple, Cashew, Vegetables etc
