Both parties had successful bilateral discussions on how to improve agriculture and agribusiness in Ghana in order to ensure the development of the sector.
The interactions specifically centred on how India can assist Ghana in the development of agroprocessing, agriculture mechanisation/implements as well as drying facilities for agricultural produce.
The Minister designate indicated that Government of Ghana, under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, was fully committed towards the development of the agriculture as a major sector for economic development and prosperity.
On his part, the Indian High Commissioner, His Excellency Birender Singh, said his
government will continue to support Ghana in diverse ways to ensure the growth and development of the agricultural sector.
