ANIMAL FARMING
This is mostly on subsistent levels. However three commercial poultry farmers can be located in
• Ankamu
• Bewadze and
• Gomoa Nkran
Three commercial pig farmers can also be located in

• Ankamu and
• Ajumako
It is however important to note that improved breeds of pigs have been supplied to some farmers in the district to help them improve upon and build a bigger stock
FISHING
The main fishing communities are Apam, Mumford, Dago, Mankoadze, and Abrekum.
